June 26 & 28 Focus Groups
for parents with a child who has access & functional needs
The Department of Public Health will be hosting two emergency preparedness focus group meetings for parents with a child who has access and functional needs. These conversations will help us to learn more about your knowledge and attitudes about disaster preparedness and gather information about community concerns associated with disaster preparedness and resources in the community.
Please join us for a 2-hour focus group where we discuss current disaster preparedness efforts. We are planning for 10 participants per meeting location. In recognition of community member’s willingness to contribute to this important process, those who register in advance and attend the full meeting are eligible to receive a $25.00 stipend. Additionally, refreshments and meals will be provided at meetings.

All parents with a child who has access and functional needs or learning disabilities
What will you be asked to do?
Take a 15-minute survey, participate in a 2-hour focus group, and share your experiences about disaster preparedness for your family and child.

Wednesday, June 28th 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm
Alhambra Library, 101 S. First Street, Alhambra, CA -
Light dinner will be provided.
What will you receive for participation?
For participating in the study, you will receive $25 compensation. A meal will be served during the focus group.
